STANDARD
All Street Smart Transmission remanufactured transmissions include a 24 month, unlimited mileage warranty, inclusive of both parts and labor. This warranty only covers the transmission. The warranty does not cover any of the following: shipping costs, rental cars, loss of work, any labor costs, removal/reinstall fees, towing costs, inspection fees and any other incidental costs or damages which may be associated with product failure. A signed warranty slip must be returned to Street Smart Transmission before any warranty service will be provided

EXTENDED
The customer may opt to purchase an additional year of warranty coverage (a total of 3 years) at an additional cost of $325. The extended warranty must be purchased in conjunction with the transmission, at the time of sale.

TERMS
Standard warranty begins from the date transmission arrives at customer location and expires 730 days later. Extended warranty begins from the date the transmission arrives at the customer location and expires 1095 days later.

EXCHANGE OR REFUND
If a product does not remain operational for the full warranty period then upon return of the defective unit to Street Smart Transmission by the buyer, Street Smart Transmission will either provide a product exchange or refund.

EXCLUSIONS

• This warranty covers internal parts inside the transmission ONLY. Warranty does not cover electrical switches, solenoids, safety switches, sending switches, linkage, throttle cable or valve cable, oil filter, oil pan, torque converter or wiring system.
   
• Improper installation or adjustments made by the customer or an agent acting on behalf of the customer.
   
• If the transmission is opened by the customer prior to contacting Street Smart Transmission customer service.
   
• Labor costs for installation or removal of the transmission, shipping charges, loss due to down time, towing costs, loss of work, car rental fees, transmission inspection fees.

WARRANTY IS VOID IF THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET:

• NEW or REMANUFACTURED torque converter MUST be installed on all automatic transmissions. Torque converter must be ENTIRELY on the front pump.
   
• Transmission cooler lines MUST be flushed to avoid using old oil or metal shavings from previous transmission.
   
• High-performance and towing applications MUST install an auxillary transmission oil cooler.
   
• TV Cable (for transmissions that have one) must be adjusted PROPERLY for adequate function of the transmission.
   
• All transmissions must be installed, maintained and adjusted by a professional experienced in removal/reinstall.
   
• Transmission oil and gear oil must be filled prior to installation.



• A warranty form (packaged with each transmission) must be signed and returned via mail or fax for the warranty to be valid.

RETURN POLICY
Contact Street Smart Transmission for a return authorization number which will be used to process a return. Street Smart Transmission reserves the right to inspect defective products before adjustments to billing are made. No return or adjustments after 120 days on any products. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, there are no refunds, only purchase credit will be given for any and all returns. Special orders & special order deposits are NOT refundable.
